Noven­tiz recei­ves sil­ver medal at Eco­Va­dis

Noven­tiz has been award­ed a sil­ver medal in its first par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on in the Eco­Va­dis assess­ment, pla­cing it in the top 15% of com­pa­nies asses­sed in our indus­try. This award reco­g­ni­s­es our com­mit­ment to sus­tainable busi­ness prac­ti­ces and con­firms that we have made signi­fi­cant pro­gress in the are­as of envi­ron­men­tal, social and gover­nan­ce (ESG).

What is Eco­Va­dis?

Eco­Va­dis is an inter­na­tio­nal­ly reco­g­nis­ed plat­form for eva­lua­ting com­pa­nies in terms of their sus­taina­bi­li­ty prac­ti­ces. The assess­ment is based on cri­te­ria such as envi­ron­men­tal manage­ment, ethi­cal busi­ness prac­ti­ces, labour con­di­ti­ons and sus­tainable pro­cu­re­ment. Com­pa­nies recei­ve a score that reflects their level of sus­taina­bi­li­ty. Only the best of the more than 100,000 com­pa­nies asses­sed world­wi­de recei­ve a high honour.

Noven­tiz and sus­taina­bi­li­ty

Our Eco­Va­dis Sil­ver cer­ti­fi­ca­ti­on reflects our con­ti­nuous efforts to act in an envi­ron­men­tal­ly con­scious and soci­al­ly respon­si­ble man­ner. This award is an important mile­stone in our long-term sus­taina­bi­li­ty stra­tegy, which includes the intro­duc­tion of an envi­ron­men­tal manage­ment sys­tem by 2025 and our par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on in various envi­ron­men­tal initia­ti­ves. The Sus­taina­bi­li­ty Report 2023, which was published in August, pro­vi­des a detail­ed insight into our sus­tainable prac­ti­ces and achie­ve­ments, such as par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on in the Achil­les Car­bon Reduc­tion Cer­ti­fi­ca­ti­on and the imple­men­ta­ti­on of a Rhi­ne clean-up cam­paign.

Out­look

With the Eco­Va­dis Sil­ver cer­ti­fi­ca­ti­on, we are sen­ding a strong signal in favour of sus­tainable busi­ness prac­ti­ces and reaf­fir­ming our com­mit­ment to pro­tec­ting our envi­ron­ment. Our next goal is to achie­ve gold cer­ti­fi­ca­ti­on from Eco­Va­dis, which we are aiming for next year. We are con­vin­ced that we can have an even grea­ter posi­ti­ve impact on our envi­ron­ment and socie­ty through con­ti­nuous impro­ve­ments and inno­va­ti­ve mea­su­res.
With this initia­ti­ve and many other mea­su­res, we are empha­sis­ing our respon­si­bi­li­ty as a com­pa­ny and demons­t­ra­ting that sus­taina­bi­li­ty is ancho­red in all are­as of our acti­vi­ties.
